Straight answers from the ranch.
Natural products come with good questions. Here are the details we would want before choosing a chew for our own dog.
Are your antlers naturally shed?
Yes. G7 Ranch sells naturally shed elk and deer antler pieces. Antler is renewed and dropped as part of the animal’s natural annual cycle.
What is the difference between split and whole elk?
Split elk is cut lengthwise to expose the center, making it easier for curious or moderate chewers to engage. Whole elk keeps the dense outer structure intact for experienced adult chewers.
How do I choose a size?
Start with weight, then size up for an intense chewer or a dog between ranges. The chew must remain larger than your dog’s mouth. Our chew finder offers a practical starting point.
Will my chew look exactly like the photo?
No—and that is a good sign. Antlers vary naturally in shape, color, texture, diameter, and curve. We match the closest listed length and quality standard, not an identical factory mold.
Can puppies or senior dogs use antlers?
We recommend a softer option for puppies, seniors, dogs with dental problems, or any dog that bites hard enough to try to crush a chew. Ask your veterinarian if you are uncertain.
How long will an antler last?
It depends on the dog, format, size, and chewing style. Whole pieces generally offer a firmer challenge than split pieces, but no specific lifespan can be guaranteed.
When should I take it away?
Remove it if it cracks, develops a sharp edge, becomes contaminated, or gets small enough to fit inside the mouth or be swallowed.
What if my dog does not love it?
Contact us within 30 days. Under G7 Ranch’s satisfaction policy, even a partially chewed item may be eligible for a prepaid UPS return and refund.
Where is G7 Ranch located?
G7 Ranch is a family business based in Rossville, Kansas.
How will checkout work?
The launch site will send your bag to secure, hosted Stripe Checkout. Product and payment details will be mapped when the G7 Stripe account is connected.
