This spring, our family headed into the wide-open country of New Mexico looking for naturally shed elk antlers. Shed hunting asks you to slow down, read the land, and notice the small signs that are easy to miss from a road.
For us, the search is as much about the miles together as the antlers we bring home. Those long days outdoors reinforce why we started G7 Ranch: to share a small, useful piece of that experience with dogs and the people who love them.
Every antler has its own color, density, curve, and story. We sort what we find carefully, keeping weathered or brittle pieces out of the chew pile and selecting fresher, denser antler for the shop.
